All returning Teams of the ASA-Tucson Girls Softball League are eligible to enter the Tournament Host draw for an opportunity to raise funds for their team expenses.
We hope that we have addressed the concerns that were raised by the past
Host and Tournament participating teams. This new format will spread the work and make opportunities available for you, the teams of Tucson ASA Girls Softball Program.
Tournaments for 2007 will be held at the Lincoln & Golf Links Softball complexes.

In an effort to put in place an acceptable and
reasonable alternative to the current rules for the
Tucson ASA Tournaments, the attached proposal is being
offered for review. It is hoped that this would help
teams to sign up earlier instead of waiting to see how
many teams are entered into an event.
Please provide your feedback on the attached proposal as
soon as you can.
Implementation of this proposal assumes that I have
obtained the agreement from a couple of sources.
Due to an increase in the number of complaints regarding
"In Season" recruiting, a roster freeze has been
implemented. What does that mean?
Players will not be able to change teams during a
season.
Tryout's will not be Scheduled nor conducted during
a season.
Teams/Coaches will not contact Players or Parents of
Players that are on a registered Team's Roster.
Open recruiting and tryouts can be conducted anytime
between seasons.
The freeze will begin on the Day After the end of the
Season opening Tucson ASA Tournament and end at the
completion of the season ending Tucson ASA Tournament or
The ASA Regional Tournament.
Spring Season - Spring Fever thru May Daze
Summer Season - Memorial Day thru ASA
Regional
Fall Season - Labor Day thru Julie Reitan
